Do you love penguins? Then go to the National Aviary to visit the penguins at Penguin Connection! Participants learn about penguin history, adaptations, feeding & nesting, habits, and the challenges penguins face surviving in their rapidly changing environment. This is a once in a lifetime chance to touch and present toys to one of the aviary's African penguins. At the end of the program, a photo opportunity is available.
This event's pricing is $40 per participant and$35 for Aviary members. This includes general admission to the National Aviary and access to all daily activities. Children ages 6-14 must be accompanied by a participating (paying) adult. Group size limited to eight people. You must call in advance to attend this event.
