Cute baby penguin chicks born at SeaWorld San Diego
The dozen macaroni penguin chicks born at SeaWorld San Diego mark the most successful breeding season on record for the species at the marine park.
In the photo below, SeaWorld aviculturist Kim Peterson introduces three of the macaroni chicks to their new Penguin Exhibit home. (See more penguin chicks at Theme Park Insider.)
Since 1980, more than 500 Adélie, macaroni and gentoo penguins have been hatched and raised at SeaWorld.
