‘March of the Penguins’ event scheduled for next week at SF Zoo

You can watch three adolescent penguins waddle their way to the adult penguin island at the San Francisco Zoo next week, but only if you’re an annual member.

However, if you have 20 seconds to check out the zoo’s YouTube video below, a marketing maneuver for their mini “March of the Penguins” event, you can at least get a peek.

The march is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., when the three young penguins graduate from “fish school” and join 44 grownup Magellanic penguins on the island.

One island, 47 penguins; now all they need is an agent.
