MOBILE, Alabama -- It's been a good run, but it's time to say
farewell to Ninja, Mooshu, Jelly and Cranberry. The visiting penguins
are the stars of the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center's Penguin
Planet.
The penguins splashed into town on July 4 in the exhibit sponsored by PNC Bank. You're invited to the Exploreum on Saturday to send the penguins off in style starting with breakfast.
Pancakes with the Penguins will be served from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Then, at 3 p.m. join the Penguin Sock Hop and Final Farewell party.
Saturday is the last chance to see the penguins. General admission is
$10 and includes all of the Exploreum's activities, Pancakes with the
Penguins, the Penguin Sock Hop and Final Farewell
and special showings
of the IMAX Dome film 'Born to be Wild'.
The Exploreum will be welcoming a new exhibit in February. AL.com will share the details when they are released.
