Performance in Anheuser-Busch Theater in The Living World.

Land of Smiles
Delta Dental of Missouri's Land of Smiles program, starring the Tooth Wizard, his pal Panda and their arch-enemy, PlaqueMan, entertains and educates children on the importance of maintaining a healthy smile. During the show, children learn proper brushing techniques, how to floss, good and bad foods for the teeth and body, and why it is important to visit "their best friend, the dentist" at least twice year. During the interactive show, the Tooth Wizard and Panda invite children to join them on stage to demonstrate the techniques learned. Children are also encouraged to participate in the question and answer segment at the end of the show. Each child is given a take-home goodie bag containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, a coloring sheet and a mirror decal to remind them to brush every day.

Penguin March

1:30 p.m. (weather permitting)

What do penguins like to do on a cold winter day? Play outside, of course! When temperatures go below 50 degrees, several king and gentoo penguins that reside indoors will venture outdoors for a burst of winter fun with their keepers. They'll be outside at the entrance to Penguin & Puffin Coast for about 30 minutes.

Every day, zookeepers offer animals unique activities such as changes in their environment, new smells, opportunities to forage for food, items to investigate and more.

Admission is Free

Admission to the Zoo and Winter Zoo activities is free. Activities are geared toward kids 2-10. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No reservations are needed. The Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
