Stackin Flapjacks for Penguins at the Kansas City Zoo

Kansas City, MO - By stackin’ up your flapjacks, you’re countin’ up the dollars to help the Zoo bring penguins to Kansas City. Join us for Pancakes for Penguins on Saturday morning, October 16 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. under the tent behind the Tropics.
The pancake griddles will hot for penguin supporters who can eat all they can of Chris Cakes pancakes, sausages and Roasterie coffee. A commemorative penguin photo will be given to each family to display and remember their on-going support the Zoo’s penguin’s project. During the breakfast, PPS (Pancake Penguin Supporters) will be entertained by the Zoo’s education animal ambassadors and activities in Haunted Valley.
What are your favorite species of penguins? Did you know there are 17 species of penguins? Bring your questions to pancakes and learn more; everyone can become a PPS.
Pancakes for Penguins is a rain or shine event. Pre-registration is requested at kansascityzoo.org. Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) Member costs are only $8 p/person; non-Members are $13 p/person. This includes all of the above food, drink and entertainment plus knowing you are adding to the funds to bring penguins to the Kansas City Zoo.
