As a part of Penguin Discount Days, admission to the Knoxville Zoo is half off from now until the end of February.
The zoo said many of the animals are actually more active on cooler days, so the next few months may be a good time to visit. Those wishing to go can buy tickets at the ticket office during regular hours or on the zoo's website.
All Knoxville area Kroger stores are also selling tickets.
The Santa's Village exhibit at the zoo will be open for one more weekend. Santa will be visiting with families on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
