The 1-year-old penguin, measuring 60 cm to 70 cm,
was one of 135 at Tokyo Sea Life Park along the shore of Tokyo Bay in
Edogawa Ward.
The aquarium decided to put the bird back in
public view after it was treated for redness and swelling of its eyes,
and it was confirmed to be in good health, officials said.
The bird had eluded capture despite a series of sightings in Tokyo Bay and other areas. It was finally caught May 24.
