The Calgary Zoo asked its guests to help name its penguin chick and on Monday the facility revealed the little Gentoo’s name. The penguin hatched last July and was incubated by one of the Zoo’s breeding pairs of Gentoo penguins.
The zoo narrowed the list of names down to four and posted them on its website for people to vote on.The final four names included, Georgia, Una, Ronne and Hope. Zoo officials say over 1700 votes were submitted and Una was the favourite and Hope was a close second.
