Live stream of Happy Feet the lost Emperor Penguin as he recovers at Wellington Zoo

Most of the time this picture will be black and white, as we are using an infrared light and camera. This is because the penguin is actually kept in darkness to simulate current conditions in Antarctica, where it is constant night during winter. Zoo staff told TV3 that this also keeps the stress for Happy Feet at a minimum.

Check throughout the day for fresh snow being brought in and feeding times.
