Pink Dot is one of the four chinstraps that
hatched at the Central Park Zoo this year, alongside the four gentoo chicks. Her
sibling is orange, and the two are known for the waterproof marker dots
that keepers used as ID badges to tell them apart when they were young.
(These dots have long since faded away.) Keepers know Pink Dot for her
