DRAPER — A migration of diverse animals to their new habitat was recently completed.
Gentoo penguins and other animals were moved into their new home at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium this month. Sea turtles, river otters and toucans also came to the aquarium, scheduled to open March 25.

Gentoo penguins are about 30 to 35 inches tall and weigh about 13 pounds. On average, they live about 10 to 15 years in the wild and 20 to 25 years in captivity. They primarily eat krill but will also eat squid and other coastal fish. They eat 10 percent of their body weight daily.
