The King penguins at the Calgary Zoo are busting out of the Penguin Plunge exhibit and taking a walk. It is part of a new attraction called ‘Penguin Walk.’
The King penguins take a 15 minute walk or waddle around the Penguin Plunge exhibit. They where chosen because they naturally stick together and walk in a line.
The zoo says it is also good exercise for them and it is a good for them to break their routine and experience new sights and sounds.
You can catch a glimpse of the waddling King penguins three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 a.m. beginning Monday, January 14th.
