ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Witnesses
started recording video when a penguin jumped out of an exhibit at
SeaWorld's new attraction on Saturday, joining many guests in the
viewing area.
The incident was caught on video by a guest at the new 'Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin' attraction.
According to a witness, SeaWorld staff ushered guests out of the area and surrounded the penguin while waiting for a handler. The penguin was returned to the water unharmed.
The attraction is SeaWorld's newest and opened to the public on Friday.
The witness told WFTV she was concerned for her four-year-old child's safety and thinks SeaWorld should modify the attraction so it doesn't happen again.
