PHOTOS: Rockhopper penguin born at Shedd Aquarium

The young bird hatched at the aquarium less than a month ago and weighed 75 grams at birth. The chick’s gender has yet to be determined as there is no observable difference in male or female anatomy.
The chick is healthy and now weights 1,019 grams.
Shedd visitors can see the hatchling being cared for by its mom and dad at the Polar Play Zone.
