Penguin walk returns to Calgary Zoo

The popular Penguin Walk is returning to the Calgary Zoo. The king penguins, Caesar, Arthur, Solomon, Tut, Diana, Grace and Hera will be walking every day starting at 11am this Saturday. This year the birds will march a different, longer route than last year beginning in front of the Penguin Plunge building and continuing down to the bridge before looping back up to their habitat.

The walks are dependent on the birds desire, and could be cancelled if the temperature drops below -25C.

It’s believed this is the only king penguin walk in Canada.
