Mystic Aquarium's adult
penguins file into line and exit the swimming area so two African
penguin chicks can take center stage for their first swim.

The cocktail party features a sampling of South African-style hors d'ouevres and wines, with passed and stationary bites including spicy grilled peri peri prawns with fried leeks and orange glaze, sweet potato cake with mango chutney, grilled South African sausage skewer, sosaties (pork and apricot kabobs), grilled chicken skewer with Monkeygland (a traditional steak sauce), tomato frikkadels (spicy meatballs) and melktert with baked banana and caramel sauce.
Guests of honor, South African penguins, will make an appearance with their trainers. The event also features live music and a cash bar.
