Visitors will be able to sign four giant Bye Bye Birdie going-away cards, visit the penguins and make a penguin craft.
Penny the Penguin will be available for photos. The penguin keepers will talk to visitors about the penguins after feedings at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.
Penguin Encounters, which offer behind-the-scenes tours and hand feeding experiences with the penguins, still are available. The fee for a Penguin Encounter is $45 for Rolling Hills Zoo members and $50 for nonmembers. Each feeder may be accompanied by one photographer or chaperone at no extra cost. Penguin feeders must be at least 5 years old. To reserve a Penguin Encounter, call 827-9488.
