John Ferneley College have come up with a
n-ice idea to motivate students and teachers - the chance to spend time
with Percy the Penguin!
Percy - the college’s new maths and English mascot -
gets looked after by either the GCSE maths and English class each week
depending on who achieves the highest results.
And the winning subject’s teacher gets to take Percy home for the weekend and enjoy his company!
Cool customer Percy has been snapped in Melton chilling with teachers in Costa Coffee, busking with a talented trio and even shopping for fish in the local supermarket.

Despite the pressure of exams and other educational challenges, Percy continues to work his penguin magic to bring smiles as well as success to John Ferneley.
